X-Golf has been on the ground in Australasia for nearly 4 years and is pioneering the golf simulator industry in Australia. It intends to become the premier golfing simulation company in Perth. X-Golf also features operations throughout the rest of Australia, Asia, North America and Europe.
X-Golf’s state of the art indoor golf simulators offer players unparalleled accuracy and realism, through a combination of camera systems, infrared lasers, impact sensors and advanced gaming software.
Canford have now partnered up with X-Golf to help see their projects to fruition and in turn, obtain their liquor licences for each venue.
Given its unique style of operation, the debate between what category of licence to apply for became important. In the case of the premises to open in Joondalup, the client and Canford had initially settled on a special facility licence – amusement venue.
The intended manner of trade of X-Golf naturally seeks to offer their facilities to a large demographic. However, after an intervention from the Chief Health Officer, and some submissions and further discussions between ourselves, the client and the Licensing Authority, it was decided that a small bar licence was more suitable.
Fortunately, this liquor licence type still fits the mould of the intended manner of trade of X-Golf. You can expect to see the Joondalup premises open in the coming months. Not only that, but you can expect to see the X-Golf brand opening up in many other locations around Perth, with proposed premises in Nedlands, Bunbury, Innaloo and Rockingham.
Thanks to Sunny, Bhavit, Dipak & Ben Hatten for the opportunity to assist with the Joondalup venue – we look forward to seeing the success of X-Golf unfold!
