Kitchen & Bar Design - Canford Hospitality Consultants
Over the course of 2021 Canford saw an increase in the amount of kitchen & bar design work we were engaged to assist with. In these uncertain times it’s good to see so many people with the confidence in the future of the industry here.
Canford was built on Liquor Licensing applications, aiding hospitality operators in acquiring the appropriate liquor licence and associated approvals, with a sharp focus on their timeline to opening, or assisting existing licensed venues make changes to their trading conditions.
The other major services we offer outside of the two mentioned above, are writing project design briefs, conducting hospitality feasibility studies & holistic hospitality project management.
We focus on the functionality and workability of the kitchen and bar, to maximise productivity in these times of staff shortages. Where possible we offer deskilling options to help minimise staff costs. Sometimes this will involve a greater upfront expenditure but will provide ongoing cost savings for the business.
In the lead up to opening a premises, it is very easy for the owners/operators to be distracted. As we’ve seen, there are a lot of different processes happening at the same time – and it can often be quite stressful. Keeping tabs on food and drink orders, acquiring staff, furniture fit outs, Council approvals – the list goes on. It’s difficult at the best of times to juggle all of these things, especially while trying to maintain the vision you had. On top of that, it can be easy to lose sight of things like venue functionality. That is where we come in, and where we’ve added real value to clients in the past.
Our clients include small single venue food and beverage operations, large accommodation properties and multi-venue national chains. We are excited with what the year will bring, not just in liquor licensing, but for the wider hospitality sector too. If you are looking to enter the industry, open up your own premises, or expand upon the hospitality business you currently have, let’s talk.
