Outta Bounds - North Lake
Outta Bounds is an amazing new golf entertainment facility that has opened in North Lake.
The Rowe Group recommended Canford back in November of 2022 to assist in acquiring a liquor licence. After discussions with the client to understand how they wished to operate and negotiations with the licensing authority it was decided that a Tavern Restricted licence was the most appropriate.
In addition to assisting in the application for their liquor licence, we helped Outta Bounds apply for their health approvals for the premises. This involved coordinating with the City of Cockburn, coordinated inspections from Council/Licensing Authority, as well as prepare a public interest submission and a witness survey.
The application was advertised and faced an intervention from the Chief Health Officers Office asking for certain trading restriction to be placed on the licence. Through our submission to the licensing authority, the licence was conditionally granted with none of the suggested trading conditions imposed.
At the time of writing this the Chief Health Officer has sought a Review before the Liquor Commission in respect of these restrictive trading conditions. Outta Bounds requested Canford represent them at the Commission to respond to this review application.
The Outta Bounds team has given the old Murdoch Pines driving range a new life. They have transformed it into a high-tech indoor-outdoor golf facility.
Lydia Zhang, a prominent Perth restaurateur, has put her stamp on the kitchen at Outta Bounds. The kitchen will be serving the usual bar and pub favourites, such as pizza and burgers. But Zhang will be implementing an Asian fusion influence.
